Wow! What a winter — soooo glad Spring has sprung! Back to gardening, letting the cats enjoy the outdoor weather — and GIGS! Yes, lots of gigs! My calendar is posted here, on www.TomandLaurieReese.com.
TONIGHT I am playing at the Watering Trough on Main Street in Mount Joy, PA. Hours are 5:30 to 8:30, and my partner tonight is my flute-playing husband, Tom Reese.
Sunday April 2nd, stop by the Art Association in Harrisburg, PA — Tom and Laurie are performing as part of the Wednesday Club concert at 3 pm. Laurie will play some solo Bach from the 3rd Suite, and together MuZette is playing Boda Waltz and the somber ballad The Parting Glass. There will be lots of fabulous musicians and singers to hear!
We are going down South next week; April 6th through the 9th, to play gigs in North Carolina with our super-duper friends, Clay Lunsford and Matthew Weaver. We play Americana music, and we’ve never had so much fun! We’ll be recording a new CD with these fantastic folks soon — I’ll keep you posted!
Happy Spring, everyone! Enjoy the rainy days, because they help the flowers grow, and the sunshiny days, because they help us flourish!
